Letters from Scotland -> Before we go -> Letter 2 | |||
|
Hi Audrey,
That was indeed very bad news!
I am very sorry that you cannot make the trip, and now we cannot all be together again! Our kids are terribly disappointed because they will not see your boys in Scotland.
I hope that you will be able to cancel your tickets without any
problems. It must be obvious to the flight insurance company that you cannot travel to Europe with a brain concussion and
your right arm in a cast!
I must tell you that I find you had a quite silly accident! A woman your age should not borrow her son’s skateboard, and certainly she should not try to cross a curbstone on it.
Especially not such a short time before the three of you
Yankees are going on a major trip to meet your very good European friends!
Anyway, I shall do my best to inform you about our holiday - I
shall write to you frequently and also I am going to send you some photos.
Wishing for a quick recovery - love from Linda.
PS. Of course also many best wishes from Peter and the kids. |
