Letters to Audrey

Letters from  Scotland  ->  The Islands  ->  Letter 11

Hi Audrey,

It is already our last day here, and tomorrow we are leaving.

Time runs out quickly.

We have had sunshine all day, and we went to the beach nearby our house. In spite of Paul getting sunburned almost immediately because of his white complexion, we enjoyed leisure life for this one day very because it was raining all day yesterday! But we enjoyed that too. We stayed at home, reading Scottish fairytales, short stories, and our newspapers  from the opening day of the new Scottish Parliament. The children baked gingerbread men and in the evening Christine cooked us a nice traditional Sunday dinner though it wasn’t Sunday!

Well, I must go and pack our stuff. It is a pity that we cannot stay longer.

Love from Linda.
